San Diego International Airport - Ground Transportation Upgrade Project

As a specialty sub-consultant to architectural firm West Group Designs, Triad Consulting & System Design Group (Triad Consulting) provided technology consulting, design and construction administration services for the upgrade of Ground Transportation (GT) systems at San Diego International Airport.

This multi-phase project included field surveys to establish existing conditions and develop requirements for the communications infrastructure of the project, coordinated plans and technical specifications for the Commercial Vehicle Management System (CVMS), including automated taxicab trip fee payment kiosks and web interface, driver queue display monitors, and an upgrade to the Automatic Vehicle Identification (AVI) systems including the replacement of antennas and readers.
